I hope you are all working towards those new goals you have set for yourselves this year. I for one have, and I am feeling pretty good about it. I am finally back into the swing of things, and will finally be getting into the art room to create!
I got a job interview this last week and I don't want to be too cocky when I say I'm pretty sure I got it! lol. I do hope I do, the money would be nice as well as the hours. As much as I would love to say that my art is making me enough money, we as artists know that is a tough dream to chase.
I'm not unrealistic, I know how hard it is to make a living being an artist, as well as how hard it is to find people who support you with that dream. I see too many artists stop creating because their art is not selling, or you have no one in your life that tells you can do it.
If you can't find that support wherever you live or whoever you are hanging with, I suggest to find a new support system. Shoot me some messages, I would love to be that fall back person that tells you not to give up. Even if its not art, if you are trying to start a new business let me know. I will give you my opinions on your products, even if it is new to me. I will research whatever it is and if you ask for a suggestions I will gladly lend you some advice.
I would love to help get you connected to people who I know will love whatever it is you are striving for. (If i can) I will, follow, like and share the crap out of it. haha. Everyone needs someone rooting for them!
I will admit that you have to tell yourself it most likely won't become the next big viral trend over night. You gotta work your butt off. You have to do things you don't want. You have to cry and feel bad about yourself but only temporarily. If you don't buck up and put any effort towards any thing you want it will never happen. Some days suck, but you can do it!
