I hope all of yalls 4th of July weekend was a blast! I for one had a ton of fun hanging out with friends and family. Matt and I kind of splurged, we went out dancing and got out of town for a couple of days.
We aren't ones to go out every weekend, do to us trying to save money and pay off some debts. So this weekend of splurging was most definitely needed and I had to keep telling myself not to feel bad about it.
My amazing weekend came to an abrupt end once Monday came.My dogs decided to escape last night and one trashed the house. The other two decided they would wander around and get into a fight. So this morning consisted of me trying to pry themselves off each other, cleaning the house and fixing the fence where they got out in the first place.
I guess that is one good thing about working for your husband, he will understand when I am late. Haha. Thank God for coffee! I don't think I would have been able to get through the morning with out it.
Now onto my artsy way of life and a little what is going on with it, I am almost done with my painting that one of my friends asked me to paint. I am so excited and nervous, the buyer hasn't even seen it other then when I had a very rough outline of the whole thing. It is coming along so great, I am proud of myself! I can say that I was kind of terrified and actually thought about saying no when he asked me to paint this, but I am so glad I decided to go for it.
We can surprise ourselves sometimes, and I can honestly say I doubted if I was going to be able to make it look good or not. I can't wait to share the finished product with you all. I'll wrap it up and get back to work.
P.S. Going out does not make you a bad person. Some responsibilities can be put on hold, just be responsible enough to get back to them, go out and make memories.
